Oklahoma AmeriCorps seeks to engage Oklahomans throughout the state in community-based service. We do this by providing funding to support the development and operations of programs that involve individuals in direct service to address critical needs across Oklahoma. As a program partner, Oklahoma nonprofits receive committed and capable individuals to help them fulfill their missions and expand their reach. Individuals who provide these services receive an educational award and acquire workforce ready skills. Our communities receive support for programs that focus on the areas of Disaster Services, Economic Opportunity, Education, Environmental Stewardship, Healthy Futures, and Veterans & Military Families.
